Newborn Photoshoot with Ellie: A Family's First Moments at Home

When Ellie made her debut into the world two months ago, Lauren and Johnny were ready to embrace every moment of it. I had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with this sweet family for a photoshoot to capture the first few months of their little one.

At two months old, Ellie is already a pro at stealing hearts—sleepy smiles, tiny hands, and a face that’ll have you melting in seconds. Lauren and Johnny couldn’t be more in love, and it was so clear from the way they looked at her. They were totally in the zone, and it was impossible not to get swept up in their excitement. It feels like she’s been a part of their lives forever.

BUT - let’s not forget the stars of the show who also made an appearance: Beans and Roni! The family dogs came in to crash the shoot, and I’m so glad they did. Who wouldn’t want their first family photos to include some four-legged cuteness? Beans and Roni were the ultimate sidekicks, bringing their own brand of love and energy to the session. The best part? They were just as interested in meeting Ellie as her parents were.

Between the adorable two-month-old snuggles and the playful dog moments, it was one of those shoots where the atmosphere was just right. The whole crew was relaxed, laughing, and enjoying the little moments that make family life so fun. I loved seeing how Ellie fit into the mix, and I have no doubt these two pups will be her sidekicks as she grows up.

So here’s to the start of a new chapter for Lauren, Johnny and little Ellie (plus Beans and Roni, of course). It was such a blast and honor getting to be a part of this milestone.
